We remember June 1, 2013 so well because it was the first day that Tucson broke 100 degrees. We had gotten to know Ashley and Travis because of interviewing them for their love story. They are such a fun loving and adorable couple. This video shares with you a glimpse of their personalities and how Ashley and Travis met and their LOVE STORY.
Ashley + Travis
We were fortunate to get to know Ashley’s family several years back when we created a montage for her grandfather’s birthday celebration and were thrilled to film Ashley’s wedding day.
Weddings are meant to be personal and have the personality of the couple. Ashley’s grandfather made the cross that was at the alter at the ceremony at Saguaro Buttes. If you look closely at their wedding trailer you can get a glimpse of it. Pretty spectacular!

The story behind the story. Max and Stacy contacted Beyond Video to film their wedding this year. Unfortuntaely we were busy. Several months later Max contacted us again to work with them on creating a love story with the main focus being on their PROPOSAL.
After talking and throwing ideas around, the love story film started to come together. With all our ideas and suggestions we decided to create the love story with the main theme being their proposal. This wasn’t any typical proposal.
You’ll need to check back when we post the love story to see what I mean.
Where do you think we decided to do our filming in the Tucson area?
Paris…the Eiffel Tower…What could be a more romantic place to propose? John thought so too. In fact he wanted to surprise Mona by creating his version of the proposal that would be shared at their reception. This clip is part of the entire montage that John Smalley Productions and Beyond Video wrote and produced.
John had Mona’s sister, Hana, get in on the fun by having her take Mona’s role and act out John’s perception of how he thought the proposal played out. Even right down to the details, Hana wore the dress Mona wore the night of the proposal.
We hope you enjoy a sneak peek at Marcy & Tim’s wedding. They were such a hoot to work with and have a great sense of humor. Since they live in Okinawa, Japan we planned an engagement video session so we could get to know them better. That’s when their true personalities came out and we knew we’d love capturing their wedding day for them at Saguaro Buttes in Tucson AZ.
